Borrowing Question

My DH and I ate always borrowing points for ourselves, kids, and/or grandchildren WDW trips. Right now we have 100 points left in our Sept. 2018 UY. I need to borrow all my 2019 points (490) for a June 2019 family trip. So I’m wondering when I can vacation again and be able to borrow our 2020 points.

You can borrow 2020 points for vacations starting on or after Sept 2019. You do not have to wait until sept 2019 to book though. You can still book 11 months out and borrow points.

Your June 2020 points are good for stays from June 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021. You can borrow them into your June 2019 UY. That would make them good from June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020. Or you can bank them into your June 2021 UY making them good from June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022.

I used to hate borrowing but after a couple rounds of having points I hadn't used, I decided it's best to borrow into the future than be left with points in the present. I never worry about adding that extra day any more. To quote the love of my life, you can't take it with you. I want to die with no points.

I used to hate borrowing also, but I'm totally with you. I feel like I'm now 6 months ahead of where my points are. I figure at some point I'll have to cash pay for a room and let my contract cathc up. But that's like 2050!...
