Borrowing Question

I have a Feb UY and I'm out of 06 points and have already borrowed 70 points into 07. (We seem to stay in a constant state of borrowing!!!) We want to go ahead and make our June 07 reservations, but will need to borrow 12 points from 08. Can I do this now, or will I need to wait until Feb. 07 to make the final day of our reservation? We've never planned a trip while having such a point deficit! Also, our home resort is VWL, which is where we'll make our reservations; however we are interested in trying to switch at 7 mos. to BCV. We think we might want to stay one night on cash - what are the chances of getting a room available with the DVC discount for June? We've had cash discounts at VB & HH before, without any problem, but didn't know if they are uncommon at the WDW resorts.

You can always make your reservation at your home resort 11 months out, so since that ressie will be in you '07 use year, go ahead and book your trip and MS will take the additional points needed from your '08 use year.

If you are booking in your 07UY you can borrow 08UY points to complete the ressie. So, yes, you can book now because your stay does not happen until 07 when the points are available and 08's are available to borrow. As far as the cash night in June and switching I would assume you should be ok....but then again We've never stay in June......
