borrowing pts for cruise question

This is very confusing so bear with me. I currently have 150 pts banked. I will get 150 more in June and am borrowing 150 from 2005. I am trying to book a cruise and need 469pts. I only have 450. I need 19 more pts or I can purchase my sons portion of the cruise for 549.00. His portion in pts is 72. Is it possible to buy 19 points to apply to my cruise? Please help

You can do either. You could rent 19 points from someone willing and able to transfer them into your account or you could pay cash for your son and save the 72 points. Either way will work.

Yes, you can do what you were suggesting.

But sit down and do the math. It is more cost effective not to use your points at all for a Disney cruise. I am going on August 7th and decided to pay cash.

But, if you can not come up with the cash, the points may be the only way to go. Have fun sailing.
