Borrowing Points

Hi. Just curious how many years you can borrow from? Just the next year or 2, 3, etc. into the future? Thanks

You can borrow from the next UY. And, you only borrow the points when you go to make the actual reservation.

Points can basically be moved one year in either direction. Banked from your current year to the following or borrowed from the year ahead. If you do both you can get 3 years worth of points at once, but I think that is the most you can gather for one trip.

You can access an additional Use Year's worth of points if the trip dates are at end of Current UY ( these dates would be covered by banked, borrowed and Current UY points ) ~AND~ then your dates continue on with first day of next Use year; then the next Use Year's allotment ("4th UY allotment" of points) can be borrowed into that Use Year.

Hard to visualize so, for example :

Feb 2009 UY points are banked into Feb 2010 UY and Feb 2011 UY points are borrowed
into Feb 2010 UY for trip taking place Jan 23 - 31 2011 ( Jan 31 2011 is last day of FEB 2010 UY )

and then on Feb 1 2011 this same trip continues from Feb 1 2011 to Feb 7 2011 with
points, which are available to be borrowed as of Feb 1 2011, from Feb 2012 Use Year
