Borrowing points question

Question..........If i borrow points from a future use year..........can I request MS to use the borrowed points first and then the current use year points after that when booking a reservation. I'm thinking of a scenario where we would potentially change or cancel a reservation and I'd want to bank some of those points forward if we changed the reservation. Thanks for the help!

Yes you can.....MS will allow you to use your borrowed points first so you can have bankable points if need be.

MS is supposed to use Borrowed points first, then Banked points, then Current points. If using points from one contract, their computer system forces them to follow that order.

If they are pulling points from multiple contracts, the Advisor, makes the decision and they have been known to make mistakes.

The only time you can borrow points is when you are making a reservation that will actually use them.

If you still have current use year points available, MS may not allow you to borrow. If that is the case, you may have to carefully explain what you want to do (and why) or even ask for a supervisor.
