Borrowing Points - Multiple Reservations

I know if I try to make a reservation in which I need to borrow points, when I get to the point of selecting the contract I wish to borrow, the system shows the amount of points I can borrow which is 50% of my available points in that use year. I thought the rule was if my reservation needed, for example, 100 points I could only borrow 50. I can make a reservation within the system parameters if the reservation I am needing to make is not more than 50% of my points of my total points in the given UY,. The reason I am confused is if the system prevents you from borrowing more than 50%, you never should make an "invalid" reservation that the system would need to automatically cancel which is posted many places on the member's website.

Has anyone tried to make multiple reservations using borrowed points? I assume each time you do, the available points to borrow is 50% of the available points in that use year less whatever you have borrowed for a previous reservation. Right?

The system was not changed and will let you book a reservation and borrow above the rule,

However, if you do, it will get canceled at some point, It mentions 7 days but some have said it took longer,

So, if you have a contract with 100 points and want to borrow, only borrow no more than 50....it doesn’t matter if it is one reservation or more than 1..

I talked with a CM about this. It’s a total of 50% of the forward year’s points that can be borrowed in totality. If you had already booked a trip before the 50% rule went into effect that reservation is grandfathered in and won’t be cancelled but those points that were borrowed do count towards your 50% maximum. So if your contract is for 100 points and you borrowed 75 points before the rule went into effect that trip is valid but you cannot borrow any of those remaining 25 points.
