"Borrowing FP"

We leave in just a couple weeks and have all our FP's ready to go, but I do have a quick question (hopefully not a stupid one). My DH (who is in a wheelchair) and I will be able to do all of the attractions that we have selected for FP together with the exception of Space Mountain (he can't do the transfer to that one). We both have fast passes though, so can I ride using my FP and then just borrow his magic band and ride again using his fast pass since he won't be using it?

Absolutely! Just take his band, scan it and enjoy the ride! They don't do the fingerprint thingee for FP.

My wife and I did this on our most recent trip. I like roller coasters, she doesn't. So I'd make FP+ reservations for Space Mountain, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Everest, etc. I'd have my band on my right wrist (I'm a lefty), hers on my left. First time through, I'd scan my right wrist; second time through I'd scan my left. Worked like a charm!

Yes. I did notice that your name comes up on a screen when you go through for certain rides, but no one seemed to mind if the name didn't match the gender of the person going through.

Yes, the name pops up, but the CM's are usually only looking at the reader and not the screen...though sometimes they are...DD scanned hers in for a ride on our first day and teh CM said "Thank you, DD's Name Here" and she didn't know how the CM knew her name, and was trying to figure it out.

We also had no problem and did this on several rides, including 7DMT (where they would probably be looking the closest, if there was going to be an issue).

One of my fondest memories was riding Expedition Everest three times without needing our FP. We then still had four FP,and the two ladies of age.... left the husband and DS7 in the gift shop, while we rode a fourth time using our FP.

When we met them in the Gift Shop afterwards and yelled out "give us your magic bands! We are going again!", the look on DS7's face was priceless!
