Borrowing 2003 BCV points

I know there was a thread about this very thing a few weeks back, but I cannot find it right now...

I got a call from MS today that our waitlist or BCV for August came through (Yay!). We were planning on borrowing 25 pts. from next year for this stay. When we got the call, the CM said we could not borrow pts. until we technically close in June. Now, I know people have been able to borrow from their new BCV contracts into next year - what do I have to do to also be able to do this?

The MS CM is holding my rooms until tomorrow night. In the meantime, I put a call in to my guide Kelly Jo and apparently she went home sick today and is not back in until Monday. Do I really need a waiver from my guide, or was this particular person at MS misinformed? If I do need a waiver - and they are only holding this ressie through tomorrow - is there a supervisor or someone I should call to put this through?

Bumping as I need to know this as well...want to use points for Polynesian in December and will need to borrow like 15 points. Anyone know for sure?

I also needed to borrow pts. for my January reservation. When I made the ressie, MS told me about not being able to borrow. I had forgotten the rule about not borrowing unitl you close Anyway, I put a call in to my guide, she called me back and said she would put in the waiver request, it was less than 30 minutes when she called back and said the request was put in and I just needed to call MS back and complete my ressie.

To make a long story longer, Yes, I believe you must have a waiver to borrow until we close in June.
