Border Crossing Black Friday

We are crossing the border around 1pm in the afternoon on Black Friday are we nuts? We are taking two nights to drive down this year, so I wondered if any CDN shoppers have found double wait times at the border? Oh we are crossing at port huron. Thanks Kathy

What is black Friday?

It is the biggest shopping day in the states, before Christmas. Electronics sell cheap as well as other items there is a thread about the possible deals on the Budget Boards. Talicskai, if all goes well I am hoping to be in our hotel in Dry Ridge KY when you cross, have a safe and wonderful vacation!

HI Kathy. We crossed on Black Friday around 10AM 2 years ago to go visit friends. That was at Detroit. We had no problems whatsoever. I think the die hard shoppers are probably crossing at 6-7AM.

We'll be crossing at Buffalo around 6-7pm on Thursday night with a busload from my daughter's hockey team. We're really hoping that it will be relatively quiet but have factored in a two-hour delay for the trip, just in case.
