My niece will bringing her almost 3year old son with her when we go in January and would like to eat at restaurants that contain booths to keep him fenced in... So do most restaurants have booths? Which restaurants would you recommend?? Which ones should we try to avoid? Any help would be appreciated.:confused3

hmm ... good question. Off the top of my head I know
We had a booth at Liberty Tree Tavern. Also Chef Mickeys and 1900 park Fare have 1 side booth-style available.
Do you think he might sit better at character meals?

There's over 250 places to eat...it might be easier for you to identify a place or two you're interested in and ask if there are booths there ....just a thought :)

At CM, 1900PF breakfast, Hollywood & Vine we had a booth on one side, two chairs on the other side of the table. That probably won't keep the child pinned in. The only place I can remember all of us in one booth was a Garden Grill in EPCOT. It was a big circular booth, so I don't think the child would escape unless they tried climbing under the table.

Thank you for the answers some of those we are wondering about are Whispering Canyon, Ohana's, Prime Time, and the HoopdeDoo Review.
The character meals that we are thinking of attending are Chef Mickeys,Donald's Safari, and Chrystel Palace.

We've only had tables at those, altho Prime does have the booth against the wall with chairs on the other side of the table. Sci-Fi could be considered a booth if you sit in a car. CM & CP both have the 'one-sided' boothes also along with regular tables. At Donald's I saw only tables.

I understand the desire for booths. They are useful for busy toddlers. However, we were there with our children in May and neither ate in nor saw a booth in any restaurant other than TRex in DTD. There are restaurants which have a long bench seat along a side of the restaurant with tables and chairs on the opposite side, but that won't work for what your niece wants. Even if you find restaurants which have a few true booths, you may not be seated in them. We were never given a choice of tables. We were just seated at the next table available. Good luck!
