Does your HS still do carnival's as a way for groups to raise money? If they do, what are some of the newer idea's for booths. There was always the jailhouse, the fish pond, blinko, wheel of fortune, ring toss - but we are wondering what is something new one of your groups tried and was a big hit.

I just did a charity carnival at work about 2 months ago. One of our biggest hits was a potty chair (like you get from the medical supply store). You take rolls of toilet paper and put duct tape around it to keep it from unrolling (like two times around the same direction as it would unroll). Then you mark off a spot for different ages to stand and take three tosses to ring the potty. It was pretty funny!!

If you can cook food, the hand-cut french fries booth at our's has a line all day long. Big $

Not new but kids have always loved either having their faces painted or getting temporary tattoos.

Dunking booth.

Got to be careful with those. If this is a PTA fundraiser, and your PTA has their liablity insurance through PTA, be warned, that insurance does not cover dunking booths or tanks.
