Hi :) i've been browsing these boards for a few months and just want to say they have been invaluable for planing my upcoming trip, so first to say a massive thank you to you all for all the help you give to each other and to the non posters like myself :worship: . I've not been brave enough to post anything before and have usually found the answers to my questions in previous posts until now. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if there is anyway to try and increase your chances of nabbing a booth when going for lunch at the Brown Derby? We will only be a party of 2 so do they even let parties of 2 sit at them if they are available e.g. if we had a reservation for lunch when the restaurant has just opened? Any info would be appreciated :)

Hi & welcome to the Dis!! :welcome: I lurked these boards for years before I got brave enough to post! Now the Dis boards is my favorite hobby!! :rotfl2:

We eat the Brown Derby pretty much every trip. The last few trips it has become out last meal: we have usually have an evening flight so we do a lunch around 1 or 2 then head out. We are also a party of 2. We have been seated at booths before. But we usually get 1 of the small tables for 2. We really don't mind either 1. Since you have a preference for a booth, just ask when you check in. I think as long as you don't mind waiting for it, they will try to accommodate you.

Have great trip & see you around the boards!!

aw thanks :wave2: i'm glad i've finally made a post! There's been so many times when i've wanted to chime in on something but thought it would be a bit weird to jump into a discussion when its my first post, so silly of me. That's good to hear that even as a 2 they don't mind seating you at a booth :cheer2: knowing that i think i'll try and book as close to opening as possible and then make a request on check-in. Thanks for the help and for the lovely welcome :goodvibes
