I just got back from MO today. I went down there to see my sister because she just graduated from boot camp yesterday. I'm just curious...how many of you would go through boot camp? I wouldn't go through it because it seems so hard. I wouldnt like it at all. The drill sergents yell at you all day and you dont get to see your family for about 9 weeks. So how about you...would you go through boot camp?

Nah i think its pretty cool.. Its ruff but u come out a better and stronger person after the 9 weeks

I wouldnt do it either. Too much work im not that strong lol

I could never do it, I dont care enough. (Plus I am not in shape enough)

i might if i had a choice

I WOULD IF IT WAS FOR LIKE A WEEK OR 2 BUT 9 WEEKS IS KINDA A LONG TIME TO BE SCREAMED AT!! MY COUSIN JUST GOT OUT FROM BOOT CAMP THIS WEEKEND HE HAD TO GO ALL SUMMER FOR THE NATIONAL GUARD!!! I WOULD HAVE NEVER MADE IT THAT LONG!!!

Nat07: Just out of curiosity, where did your cousin go for Boot Camp? My sister went to Fort Leonard Wood and she was also there for almost the whole summer. She graduated on Thursday though. Some of her friends that was with her was from the National Gaurd.

I REALY DONT KNOW I THINK HE HAD TO GO TO LIKE 3 DIFFRENT FORTS.

Doesn't sound like something I plan to do in the future, however I think that for some it would be the ultimate challenge. :)

3?!?! wow!! My sister is going to Fort Bragg now for her AIT training but only was at Fort leonard wood for Basic.

Thats tight

I would do it, cuz i now a guy who's in the ROTC (I think thats right) but anyway he says it's cool.

He said that Boot Camp was COOL?!?! You should read the letters that my sister sent home from it. It didnt sound like much fun to me. There were about 20% of the people there that didnt graduate for one reason or another. There was also this girl there said that she was going to commit suicide, but she only said that so she could get out of boot camp. So she really wouldnt have done that.

Thats only what he said. But he did say that the first couple of days were hard, but soon you get used to it:o,one thing you should understand is he's always wanted to be in the ROTC.
