For what it's worth. I'll throw my ghost story in here...
It began when we moved into our new house (the house was 3 years old when we moved in). My son was 2 and I was just 10 weeks pregnant with my dd. For the next several months, Zak would say Hi to people we couldn't see (in the house). For instance, we would be sitting in bed, snuggling, and he would sit up, look towards the dormer window and say Hi. Now this is out of a two year old with NO imagination (still has none to this day). We asked him who is there and he said, "Mommy & Daddy ghost".
Just to clarify, we never discussed ghosts with him, nor did he watch any shows like that (he watched Barney, Magic School Bus, etc). So, we just accepted it and acted like it was no big deal. One day, I was sitting at the computer when my dh yelled from the kitchen, "Who bent the door?". Huh?

I went into the kitchen and saw that the bottom cupboard door under the sink was bent almost off the hinges!! Ummm... I didn't do that! Zak was two so he had no strength nor the reason to do that! We just looked at each other....
Ok, now onto the good part! One night after my dd was born, we returned from eating out and Zak immediately ran upstairs (he is still 2 at this point!). Dh & I are sitting on the couch in the living room while I nurse the baby. We can hear Zak upstairs talking to the ghosts just as if he is playing with them, "No, don't do that, do this... here, see this?", etc... So, being brave and all, my dh asks Zak if he would like to bring his friends downstairs and he says SURE! So, he comes down to the bottom of the stairs and proceeds to talk to them from the bottom of the stairs looking up... trying to get them to come down. Now, dh and I are getting a bit freaked at the moment. Then, our big German Shepherd LUKE comes around towards the bottom of the stairs and looks up and Zak says, "No, that's just my dog Luke".

So, we ask him again, who is on the stairs and he says a Mommy, Daddy and little boy ghost. (Now this gave us chills as we did lose a baby before Zak). So, there we are, the dog and Zak looking upstairs, and dh and I on the couch with goosebumps the size of Mt. Everest!
After a while, as Zak grew up he stopped mentioning this. At one point, after watching Casper at his grandparent's house, he asked if all ghosts looked like that. We told him no, that was a cartoon and left it at that. Ellie never saw anything, but Abby was about 2 when one day she walked out of Zak's room and I asked her who she was talking to (since the other two kids were watching TV) and out of the blue she said, "The Daddy ghost".

Caught me WAY OFF BALANCE! But, I said, Cool.
Also, last year, Dh & I were laying in bed, cuddling and talking quietly. We were both facing in towards each other when we heard footsteps come into our room. We rolled our eyes at each other figuring it was one of the girls interrupting. I rolled over to see who was at the edge of my bed and nobody was there! We looked at each other, kinda like, huh??? and I got up to check on the girls. Both were sound asleep in their beds just like they were when we tucked them in.

But we both HEARD the footsteps in our room!!!!
OK, I have goosebumps again, do you?
Tomorrow morning I am seeing a Medium in Lilydale, NY (a pretty famous town known for Psychics). I really want to know if we do have guardian angels or "ghosts". I hope to hear from my Mom, Dad and Grandparents through this Medium....
That's my story! I totally believe.
