I was wondering if anyone knew of any planning books with the menus listed in them. I know they can be viewed online, but my DH isn't much of a computer person, so I thought if I bought a planning book, he could take a look at our choices easier. Thanks!

I don't THINK that there any books like that out there.

Now there are planning guides that give descriptions of the restaurants and what they serve. The Unofficial Guide comes immediately to mind.

Maybe that would help? Or perhaps you could print off some of the menus from places where you are likely to eat?

I did most of the planning for our vacation because my wife a number of projects underway. I printed out quite a bit of information including counter service menus. Since we drove down she had time to read through the information on the way there. Same with ADRs, I printed out the menus and we decided where to eat.

Thanks! I realize that the menus might change, but getting the general idea of what is served is mostly what I'm after. I have thought about printing some menus, and may do that or make him sit his butt at the computer!:rotfl2:

I plan to take my laptop this trip. Since I have extensive Food Porn files and have saved most of the menu's on my hard drive I will be able to show my dh what he is might like to eat instead of just informing him the night before of where we have ressies as I have in the past.

I have a data base of our itinerary and have certain high rated items marked on it to give me an idea of what to order where.

Thanks everyone for your input in making our vacations better!!
