I've recently read the Da Vinci Code and I just couldn't read it fast enough! I did not want to put it down - it was an excellent read and a real page-turner.

Anyone else know any other books like that? I'm headed to the library tonight and would love to pick up a few!

I could not put down The Lovely Bones. I cried to the point of sobbing during some parts.

The Nanny Diaries. A very fast, fun read.

My #1 favorite book is The Stand by Stephen King. It's a looooong story, but I loved every page.

A good fluff book is Good in Bed by Jennifer Weiner. Made me laugh out lound several times.

Also, anything by James Patterson is pretty good, especially his Alex Cross novels.

Thank you all - I'm writing out my list to take to the library!! I'm so excited!

Any more books that are so good that you just don't want to put them down??

To Kill a Mockingbird is my all-time favorite. I am currently reading Devil in the White City. It's a true story and is so interesting.

I just finished The Last Juror by John Grisham and really enjoyed it. For the first time, Grisham brought tears to my eyes.

Just about ANY book authored by James Patterson or Patricia Cornwell (sp?)...except for the Jack the Ripper book by her. It bored me to tears.

Also, if you want a good historical romance book that is my ABSOLUTE favorite, read A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Devereaux. Awesome, awesome!!

FYI, my partner just finished reading Angels & Demons by the same author that wrote Da Vinci. It's apparently a prequel of sort to Da Vinci with the same main character. You might want to check it out.

I love Bridget Jones' Diary, but then again, I'm not a particularly deep person. :p If you are, you might steer clear of this book, which is just pure fluff.

This is my favorite book of all time tho. Dear brother told me the other day that I am the American version of Bridget. I don't think he meant it as a compliment. :p

THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH

by Ken Follet

I had been urged by several people to read this one. And you know how you get when too many people are after you to read something...it becomes a chore...plus this one is a good thousand pages long.

I started reading almost like it was a school assingment...but I got wrapped up in it immediately and I could not put it down.

I also agree with James Patterson and John Grisham, if you liked Da Vinci Code.

I also loved Good In Bed by Jennifer Weiner, and her next one In Her Shoes.

Lovely Bones was great, and her nonfiction story Lucky too.

Marian Keyes... she is great. Especially Watermelon.

Wally Lamb... She's Come Undone.

Bel Canto... great book by Ann Patchett.

Nanny Diaries was good, The Good Mother, Expecting Adam, I could go on and on. :)

I'm currently reading Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons by Laura Landvik and it's awesome. :)

Good Luck finding something good!

"The Pull Of The Moon" and "Talk Before Sleep" - both by Elizabeth Berg..

Amazing!

The 5 people we meet in heaven - Mitch Albom

Skipping Christmas - John Grisham

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE READS!!!!
