Is there a special book everyone gets? or just a typical autograph book?

We have always purchased the ones offered in the gift shops at the resorts upon arrival (about $6). We've also found that purchasing one of the large pens in the gift shop are a good idea b/c it's easier for the characters to use. Have a good time!

We always make our own. Micheals (craft store chain) has a memory book that is 6 x 6 spiral bound. We print out a clipart of each character that we want to sign the book and paste on a page. Leave the back of the page blank for a photo of the character that signed. The characters just love these, and usually do something other than just sign it. For instance, EEyore drew a rain cloud over his clipart and rain coming down. Makes it more personal I think and still costs about the same as the Disney ones. I would be glad to send you some pictures of last year's if you can PM me your email. This year's is not don yet.

We do both. My son likes the ones from WDW... so we get that. And last year, I created one for him for our Disney cruise. It was all acid free, archival safe, etc, and each page had a paperpiece of a specific character, along with a scrapbooked name, all cut out and decorated. What was so wonderful about it... was the characters made a huge huge fuss over it with my son Dana. It created some really interesting pictures, as several of them at once would look at it, and I got to take pix of him with groups of characters.

I don't know if you have a Disney Store nearby, but we found this great autograph book this year for our trip. It is around 6 inches by 6 inches and it has a place to put a picture on the top of the page and then an area for the autograph on the bottom, so you can put the picture of your family with the character with the autograph. The front has a picture of Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto in front of the castle and says "Disney Fun Seeker".

We are also taking the kids autograph books they got last year from WDW since they are still in good condition for more autographs in those.

We are also bringing our passports back this year from the World Showcase and having them stamped again rather than buying a new passport.

I saw a similar autograph book at DLR last week that could hold a 4x6 picture and autograph at the bottom. It was pink with the princesses on the cover. Kind of a version of the Fun Seeker for little girls. I do not recall seeing it at WDW my last trip but recall a CM talking about it.

What is DLR? I've been looking for a book for our dd and the princess one sounds perfect.

Sorry for the abbreviation...Disneyland Resort. I had not seen it before last week. It has Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Ariel on the front and Jasmine, Belle, and Cindy on the back. Pages are purple with fancy pattern and pictures of them. Two lines on the bottom on the autograph.

It is a bit different than the blue autograph book.
