Has anyone booked with them? If so, how did you like them? Did you have any problems?

I booked a room from them last night at Hotel Royal Plaza for the night before we check into POR. They were running a special for $69.30 ($79.91 w/tax and fees)! The hotel site isn't even offering a room that cheap. I checked today and the rate at BookIt went up to $99.

I just hope that I did the right thing. This morning I found some reviews on other sites that weren't happy with them. However the BBB gave them a score of A+.
Once my card gets charged, I am going to call the hotel directly.

Has anyone that stayed at the Royal Plaza had the resort fee waived. We will be arriving late in the evening so we will not be using anything that the fee would cover.

dd hotels generally will make you pay the fee regardless.

the hotel wasn't that great - but hey your price is - go for it.

the only really, really nice hotel is the Hilton in DD. but since you got such a good rate - it is just fine!

We just used them in early January for a last-minute two-night stay in Destin, FL. It was a surprise hotel, but we easily figured it out before we went. Anyway, it was an easy experience with no problems at all.

Uh-oh. Should I be worried about the hotel? I read reviews on here that people liked it. We will basically just be sleeping and showering for just the one night. Will we be okay?

The hotel is fine. We've stayed there twice. You got a good rate. I booked through bookit.com as well with no problems. Relax and enjoy.

Thanks! What type room did you get? I went ahead and got the traditional since it is only for 1 night.

We stayed there 1 night last April before our cruise - it is a nice hotel - room was very clean and was very nice - we were on the 6th floor - room facing towards downtown disney. We paid $99 for the night and then the lovely resort fee that you can't get waived. We left the next morning about 10 a.m. I would highly recommend it!

We had tower rooms both times. They may end of upgrading you depending on how busy it is. The tower can have a nice view of disney depending on where your room is located.

We used them in March 2007 for a 3 night stay at Bahama Bay resort. No problems at all. I always check their site for rates now.
