Booking with rewards dollars

Can you use a travel agent to book using Disney Rewards dollars, or do you have to book through Disney?

I think it would depend if the travel agent takes payment from you and pays DCL directly OR if they pay DCL with an agency check (some agencies take payments from a customer and then puts the funds in their agency account until they pay the cruise line with an agency check). If the latter than no, as a travel agency would not be able to process Disney Rewards as payment.

If the first, then probably. The agency would have to take your rewards card payment and info down and then pass it on to DCL for payment.

We have used them with our agent multiple times. You do have to transfer them to a card. Be aware that if you cancel, that card will be refunded so hold on to it!
