Hi guys !

So I'm going to be booking my HoJo's reservation pretty soon because Shyboy72 just got our entertainment card in the mail ! I have some questions and hopefully you guys will be able to help.

I was looking at the dates from a link in a previous thread about this subject and it looks like I'll be able to get the entertainment rate 2 of the three nights we will be there. I am an AP holder, so do I just tell them that so they can give me an AP rate on the last night ? Also, what is my discount as an AP holder for HoJo's ?

Thanks guys !

I believe it is 20% and yes just let Jennifer or Lorealle know you would like to book ET rate for 2 nights and AP for the third.
Then make sure you keep watching the Hojo board for your AP date to change to ET rate date

I hit this same situation but in reverse on our October trip--Ent rate was only available one of the 3 nights we were there. I talked to in house reservations (Jennifer) and she hooked me up with the Ent rate for the 1st night and an AP discount of 15% off the best available rate for our room for the other two nights. Just another reason why I heart Hojo!!!

Should I ask for them when I book ?

You'll want to call on Monday; always call the 714 number during business hours/days pacific time. When you do that, ask for "in house reservations". That should get you through to Lorealle's team. :)

And yes, tell them you'll want the E Book rate for those nights, and the AP discount (which is 20% off...15% off is the disboards member rate!) for the other night, and make sure you check and check and check to see if that other date opens up!

The other thing you CAN do is, sometimes you can book with those codes online. The Entertainment Book code is SD50, and the AP rate code is LNAP; you can't do it at once, so you'd have to book the EB rate nights separately and the AP rate code separately. When you check in they should have them together, or just make sure they know they are linked.

Might be easier to just wait until Monday, though!

Thanks bumbershoot! I will definitely just wait until Monday, it sounds like it would be easier too ! ;)

I have a few nights booked @ HoJo's the 1st week of March ~ the 2nd & 3rd are on the availability calendar but not the 4th ~ using the SD50 code I was able to get the ent rate for the 4th!

Sweet ! Maybe when I talk to them it will be available :)

I spoke with Jennifer to update 3/4 to the ent rate ~ she couldn't see it on their calendar but she took my word for it (she could've seen it herself using the SD50 code ~ it's still showing up).

I just did the same thing, Jasmine. I called and got the Ent Rate for 2 nights and an AP discount for the 1 night. I spoke to Jennifer and she was very nice.

So when I called I just said I would like to make a reservation and for December 1 through the 4th. And that I would like to use the Ent Card Discount on the nights that were available and then that I have an AP and I would like to use that discount. And yeah!! She did it and now we're happy and I can't wait!!

But also, make sure you say "in house reservations" because when I first called I just said reservations and she transferred me to some other reservations, I think the 1 800 number, because when I was talking to the lady about how I wanted to use the Ent Rate and she had no idea what I was talking.

Thanks Courtney ! I will definitely remember to say "in house reservations" when I do it. Is there a reason why you have to say it ? I don't even understand what that means !
