Booking with Dreams Unlimited Travel

Hello,

Have any UK-ers used Dreams to Book their trip to WDW? If so, how did the park tickets work?

It seems that MYW tickets available in the US only go up to 10 days - but we are travelling for 15nights. You can buy 14 (or indeed 21) day tickets here in the UK but looking at a package from Dreams.

Thoughts?

If you buy a package with Dreams you will only be able to get MYW tickets. And, yes, you are right, they only give you 10 days worth of park tickets. However, don't forget you can add the plus option (water parks etc.). Unless you actually plan to go to one of the four main WDW parks every day, you should be fine with a 10-day ticket. If you don't want to buy MYW tickets then just book your accommodation through Dreams and buy tickets spearately.

I used Dreams a few years ago and was impressed with the service from the TA we had. If you buy UK tickets couldn't you add them to your reservation in your My Disney Experience account?

Well I am no expert with MDE, but when you book a WDW hotel you get a reference number that you need for MDE to add you reservation. I booked through Expedia and they were able to send it to me and I'm sure Dreams will be able to do the same. I am waiting for my 21 day tickets to arrive so I can add them to MDE and start booking FP. I don't see why it would be any different for you. Please someone correct me if I am wrong

yes, you can book a "US reservation" and buy the UK tickets separately and add them to your MDE.

I didn't book with Dreams, but i did the same thing on my own.
I booked a package directly with disney USA, and then bought 14 day ultimate tickets. I was able to add the ultimate tickets to my reservation on MDE.

If you want the free dining or other promotion then you might have to buy MYW tickets as part of your package to qualify.

We have used Dreams several times and have always had an excellent service- we do it because you can get the room only discounts.

I think to qualify for free dining you would have to buy at least a one day MYW ticket for everyone in the room but not for the full number of days you are staying. I think but am not certain this is right.

for the US free dining package, you have to buy a two day ticket for everyone in the room.
We've done the US free dining package several times. We take the two day ticket, which is the minimum in order to qualify for the free dining package. And then we buy 14 day ultimate tickets (which we link to our MDE - no problem).

Even 'throwing away' the 2 day ticket, the free dining package comes out as a good deal. Especially because the US free dining package includes the value resorts (quick service) and has table service at the moderates.
