Booking with Disney visa question

When you book a trip with Disney Visa, can I pay the deposit on the trip with the Visa to get the discount but pay the rest of the balance with a gift card? Was hoping to pay the whole trip with gift cards but want to take advantage of the discount (looking at Aulani, $400 resort credit).

Dont know about resorts but in order to qualify for the disney visa on board credit offer for the cruise line I had to have paid every penny with the disney visa for it to apply..
