I am in the process of obtaining quotes for a Nov. 2006 cruise. From what I have read, it is better to book with an independent travel agent, but the quote I am getting directly from Disney is coming up as less on all accounts. Has anyone else had this experience? What are the advantages/disadvantages of booking with Disney vs a travel agent? Thanks for your help!

You may want to double check exactly what the TA's quote includes. Sometimes they automatically add transfers & insurance.

I've always rebooked onboard for the best deal. We did switch to AAA one year when they offered a $200 shipboard credit. We kept our DCL deal and had the AAA deal.

Our first cruise we booked through Disney, but for our last two we went through a TA. We booked our third onboard and they transfered the ressie to our TA for us.
