Hi all

Just looking through all the discounts offered in the latest Disney Club book, i'm now just wondering how I would go about booking a room for 2003 at the All Star Movies using the DC rate.

Do I have to book through the official Disney World website to get the discount or can it be used with other booking companies?

Thanks for your help :)

Hi Barnsey,

I don't think you'll be able to book online with Disney and make use of DC rates - unless things have changed quite recently.

You have a couple of choices - either phone Walt Disney Travel Club and request the discount from them directly, or use an agent like Dreams Unlimited - a few people here on the forum have had good experiences with them I believe.

Couple of links to check out:

http://www.wdwig.com/resort.htm - details of WDTC and booking process.

http://www.dreamsunlimited.com/reservations/index.htm - Dreams Unlimited web site.

The terms for rooms with a DC discount are a little different these days - they basically want full payment for your stay 45 days ahead of arrival. Cancel before this and you're fine - after and you start to lose money depending on how close. If you're used to using Disney CRO for reservations this is a different scheme.

Depending on when your trip is, and how long for, you might want to think about an annual pass rate. You can book these through CRO (but again not online), but the discounts tend to be better and sometimes pay for the annual pass itself! - downside is that they're not always available.

Good luck!
