can you tell me about your experience? I have seen lots of info on purchasing Disney gift cards at BJs which is what we did for our last cruise. If you book through BJs travel, can you pay your balance with Disney gift cards? Is there any issue with asking for accommodations like allergies etc when they own your reservation? Is it hard to work with them?

we are members and get their emails all the time so at least where I am they are still selling travel.

https://travel.bjs.com/

Just testing. DISboards prefers we use the full URL address when talking about travel agencies.

we don't have costco which I know everyone here loves. so https://travel.bjs.com/ is where I can get a gift card for booking but I'm just not sure if I want to use them or dreams. I'm also not sure if I hate working with https://travel.bjs.com/ if I can transfer the reservation to someone else like you can do with others. I guess there aren't many other BJs members around here!

Once you have a TA, you may find difficulties transferring it b/c the TA has to agree to let your reservation go.

I've never heard of anyone using BJ's travel, but then, I'm from Canada and there are no BJ stores here. I'd probably use Dreams if it weren't for Costco.

we used BJ's 2x in the past, it was nice to get the gift card about 3weeks after the cruise,
I always felt I knew more then the agent b/c they don't specialize in any cruise line, we do a ton of our own research and had cruised DCL several times before using them
now we just book ourselves, same as before using bj's. would rather have our own control
especially on opening day, we want to make our own decisions, about cabins that are available.
we do not have costco near us either
i wouldn't say they were difficult to work with, but if you have a questions or concerns, they are only available on their hours. By dealing with DCL direct i know when i can call which to me is longer days & hours
