booking with AP

I will probably be purchasing an Annual Pass in my name this Fall.

I understand that I can book up to 3 rooms for an AP discount, if any are available.

I would like to book 2 rooms (for my family and for my in-laws) for our January 31, 2004 trip. I hope to make the reservations in September at rack rates and then wait for discounts to be released.

If I book the rooms in my name, will my in-laws be able to pay the remainder of their hotel bill (minus the deposit) and room charges with their own credit card?

Anyone have experience with these kind of arrangements?
