Booking Windsor Hills with First Choice

Has anyone booked a 4 bed villa at Windsor Hills with Frist Choice. I have seen a good price going 28th November. A choice of accomodation but would like 4 bed wth a pool. Just wondering what sort of standard these villas are as should imagine that this can vary quite significantly.
Also any views on windsor Hills would be great.

We are booked on Windsor Hills in October, looks like lovely gated community. Jayne our Villa owner is very pleased with it and her kids love it.

I've stayed at WH, albeit in a privately rented house rather than thru a tour operator. Windsor Hills itself is fantastic - clean, well maintained, close to Disney (only 5 mins to Animal Kingdom via Sherberth Road shortcut), close to restaurants and shops. Lovely communal pool too.

I would imagine that the facilities each home has will vary. You may find that a home you rent via First Choice will be more basically furnished than one rented privately.

My kids loved it - they were 8 and 6 when we went and we plan to go back to Windsor Hills in 2010 if we can get a good price on flights.

I should add that we rented a 3 bedroom townhouse with plunge pool and it was brilliant. Pool was just the right size to relax in at the end of the day. Accom cost us £900 for 10 nights at Easter (when the exchange rate was good)!

Have you priced things up to see if it cheaper to do it separately? That way you could choose your exact villa and know precisely what you'll be getting for your money.

We stayed at Windsor Hills last April. Although we did not use many facilites at Windsor Hills the location and the villas we stayed in was great.
We booked flights and villa independently and the owner really could not have done more for us.

This May we have opted for Emerald Island as Windsor Hills could not provide us with the number of bedrooms/bathroom we require.

You will have a great time at Windsor Hills.

Another for WH. We have been 3 times & like how near it is ti WDW with easy access to I4.

We also booked privately - a 3 br townhome.

Hey - We have booked for Windsor Hills too this year. This will be our second time at Windsor Hills. We have booked a townhome again. There are many UK owned townhomes. You will have a super time.

We have been via Firstchoice to Windsor Hills and it was great. We stayed in a 3bed town house but have stayed in a 4 and 5 bed private villas on site before. We got to Sanford and then in the Firstchoice welcome area got our package including house entry code to the key lock and then down to the car rental which was no hassle at all.

The townhouse was a normal furniture pack offered by the developer but was still nice with everything we need, some (inc with FC) have nice more personal or Disney touches.

I am sure that some people will advise on pool heat but we have always had a problem with the temp of the pools, the management company whether direct or FC will *always* say that it is restricted / solar / fixed.... We found that the main pool was warmer than we ever managed to get ours so we went down to the shared pool for evening swims.

A quick note about the staff at Windsor Hills the gate staff and the custodian were / are amazing. We didn't know at the time but my Dad had experienced some mini strokes and we started to see the effects of vascular dementia. He went for a walk without telling anyone, he thought he would go and find my Mum who was at a scrapbooking retreat up the road but didn't take the car. So we went looking all over to check the clubhouse and so on eventually they saw him leave on the video and we drove up the road to find him a little confused. It was so unlike him my Mum was out of her mind with worry (she had been suspecting something wasn't right but hadn't shared with us then). The caretaker stayed on patrol past his end of shift and the genuine concern from all the staff was fantastic. A good advantage of a gated community.
