Booking window open by day or by month?

Hi,

I'm new and trying to learn as much as I can.

I understand you can book at your home resort at the 11 month mark (or 7 months for non-home) - so does that window open daily or is that at the first of the month the whole month becomes available?

For example, right now can people book until September 26 at their home resorts? Or the whole month of September?

At this time, DVC members can reserve up to 7 nights by calling 11 months from their arrival date (or later). Today you could reserve dates up thru September 26, 2011 (plus another 6 nights). If you want to reserve a 2 week stay with one call you'd need to wait a week later and reserve the entire stay at once - today you could make a reservation for September 19 - October 2, 2011 (based on availability). you could also reserve 7 nights and then call back daily to add additional days to the same reservation.
