booking Walt's - October parade times?

Hey all,

My restaurant reservation window opens tomorrow (not long now!).

Just wondering if anyone knows the approx time the parade will be on in early October?
Aiming to score a Walt's parade time window seat with my booking.

I tried to google last years but am having no luck.

Disney's Magic on Parade is somewhere between 4 and 6 PM daily.

I'd be checkng what time is the latest you could dine at Walt's as they risk to be closed early. Parade is normally at 17.00 -17.30.

If I look at last years program from the 1-10 October it was at 17.30

Were you able to get a later ressie? I wanted Walt's for our first night in September but they were only doing lunch then I also had 5:30 written down as the parade time.

The window for the date I want opens tomorrow, I stupidly thought you could book restaurant ressies 2 months from arrival date not 2 months in advance so could only do our first days bookings. Will let you know tomorrow!

I think Walts is only open lunchtimes off season. I got a reservation last October on a Wednesday for the last sitting at 15:30 (ended up cancelling) and I know it is sometimes closed on certain days too.

Whilst you might not be able to see the main parade at 17:30, there will be shorter Halloween parades throughout the day so you might catch one of those.

Park restaurants aren't open to booking for another 2 weeks apparently (I tried Blue Lagoon and Walts) so looks like I'll find out what times are available (and if they're even open) then!

This website is quite good at finding what is open/closed and times. Just click on the date you want. It only goes up to end Sep at the moment but keep checking for updates.

Just an update: Walts is only open for lunch Wednesday - Sunday (closed Monday-Tuesday). The earliest I could get was midday.
However I did manage to book Blue Lagoon for 6.45pm on a Tuesday, so not every restaurant is closing early.
