Hi

I have got to pre book my seats with virgin in a few days flying out on 14th may for 15 nights. There are 4 of us going including a 13 and 9 yr old. Last time we flew we sat near the back but my daughter got sick on both landings due to time we had to wait to get off the plane. Any body got any good seat numbers for nearer the front - my son wants a window seat - we are flying from manchester. Thanks for the help.

Sue,

Unless the I'm mistaken, the layout of the 'plane is 3-4-3 at the front, changing to 2-4-2 at the back (row 61'ish - we always try to book the second row of the 2's so I can stretch out!)) - this is assuming that you're going Economy. So I don't think you can get four seats together and a window seat.

We just flew with Virgin (but from Gatwick) we were in row 34 which was maybe about 10 rows back in economy.

When you ring to pre book ask them for seats as far forward as possible. Bear in mind though that most airlines (I work for BA) only prebook one third of the aircraft and the remaining seats are allocated at check-in so even if you are pre-booked further back than you would like it may be possible to change them on the day.

Well I hope you get the seats you book. Last year Virgin had my wife and I split up even though we had pre-booked and checked in 4 hours before the flight.

After a lot of "discussion" we were found seats together alongside the Galley so a very noisy flight was the result.

Complaints to Virgin simply brought the stock answer of "Sorry but seat reservations are not guarranteed. Don't trust them. I don't and I won't fly with them ever again!
