Booking VB for next May??

I am planning to book a one bedroom at Vero Beach for next year, Memorial Day week (Sun - Friday).
6/25 is the 11mth for the first night.
Do you think I will need to book day by day for that week or wait and book the entire week at once?
We have never gone at this time and I am not sure.

If it were me, I would book day by day (although it may not be necessary). I have been frustrated trying to get VB ressies in the past (cash), and that is what prompted my add-on.

To be on the safe side, I would do day- by day, the first 2 days, then ask MS how the rest of the week works. It doesn't hurt to be on the safe side (day by day)

If you are checking in on Sunday, May 25, the first day you can call to reserve a room will be Wednesday, June 26. The 11th month window is from check out day, not check in.

I'd recommend you call 6/26 to book the first day. Ask MS what the availability looks like for the other days you want. MS will tell you if its necessary to call day by day for the rest of your ressie or if it will likely be OK to wait until the 11 month window opens for your last day.

I've read a number of posts that suggest members should call 11 months out for the first day of their stay and ask how it looks for the rest of the week. Wouldn't the rest of the week still be wide open since the 11-month window hasn't come up for those dates? Just wondering.

For 11 month calling, I think the theory is that MS will know how fast rooms are booking by the number of calls and requests. For example, when I called at the 11 month window to book BWV for the first week of December, MS said I was wise to call first thing in the AM because they were getting lots of calls for that time period. If there weren't many people calling, I'd assume that is when they would say it looked good for you to call just once.
