Booking Treehouse Villas

I know I read this somewhere, but now I can't find it....

When is MS taking reservations for the Treehouse Villas?

I'm guessing with only 60 of them available, unless I own at SSR (which I don't) I probably won't be able to book at the 7 month window. I'm thinking that with only a 2-week lead time when they first start booking ressies, before they open it up to all DVC owners, that may be my best shot.

What is the points needed for a weekday night at THV? I would love to stay but not for just 3 or 4 of us. They look beautiful.

THV is part of SSR. SSR owners may start reserving THVs on February 8, 2009 for dates beginning with June 1, 2009. SSR owners have the 11 month priority for THVs which use the same point charts as 2BR villas at SSR. Other DVC members may start reserving THVs on February 22, 2009 and the 7 month restriction will apply.

Are people with developer points to be used at SSR going to be able to use those for THV?

I am also hoping to book the THV for a few nights in August 09............so will be watching with interest in Feb to see if there are any left as we don't own at SSR!!!

Not during the first two weeks. Developer points are not connected to any resort, so you don't get home booking advantage with them at SSR.

anyone know if they will have a seperate bus stop, will it be included in the same SSR busses (that are usually slow and too full now), and how THV guests can get to the main SSR building?
