Yes, my Dreams Unlimited agent has always done the monitoring and leg work to rebook and get me the lowest rate. And a few years back when we had a party of 10 she handled booking the dinner reservations.
Yes I just booked my June trip with Dreams Unlimited and the agent was able to get me a lower rate a few weeks after I booked. Also she researched the best way to add my niece when she decide to come for a few days of the trip.
I think using any travel agent with Disney it's about convenience and not about price. I have never received a better price booking thru a Disney travel agent then booking myself.
I book through them as it doesn't cost me any extra and it helps the company. Also, I can avoid being on hold to Disney for long periods of time if I need a question answered or a change made.
We plan to use a travel agency for the first time for our next trip. I'm just not great at keeping up with discounts and always seem to miss out.
I figure it's free to use who we are choosing, they will do the leg work of checking for discounts, so why not try. I did make sure I would still be in control of my reservation for making dining reservations, park reservations, etc.
