Booking through AAA

Are there significant savings of booking through AAA?
Or drawbacks?
Debating a trip to Disney land. Thinking it might be easier to just stop by the AAA office and have them book everything.

Booking thru AAA will save you some, how much depends on where you stay and time of year. When I priced out a dl trip for us (2 adults)at a good neighbor hotel I saved about 100.00 but I saved even more by going thru Costco. Now for me I was booking own dining res., was perfectly fine booking it myself if I had to but Costco gave me extra things that I'd use.

Mmmm.. saw something about free parking pass with AAA? Not sure if they have any other extras. Was thinking about doing hotel and tickets through them, winging it on the dining..
We have never been to the west coast so not sure where to start with trip planning..

Yes they can be. Depending on the time of year. I booked though them this year for our trip to DL this Aug. It was a significant savings over booking though either Disney or separately buying tickets/room. Even saved over getting the 10% off AAA room only rate. My dates are already sold out for the DLH so I know Disney will not be giving any big discounts either. (Going for the half marathon). We are staying in a 2 bedroom suite at DLH and got 5 day Park hoppers. I saved over $1500 by booking though AAA for our 5 night trip. So yes, they can be great. You might also want to check out Costco. Sometimes they have great prices. But make sure to price it out on your own as well. Our previous two visits it was less to book separately on our own then to book though AAA.

I personally walked to DL from my hotel so never even saw parking area.
The discounts were worthless to me but Every family is different.
