This is my first post on this board. This seems to be the most informitive board I've found. My question is, my wife and I are planning on making a trip to WDW in late Jan/early Feb. and stay at the Poly. Will it be a big risk to wait till early Dec. till we book. Any information will be much appreciated. Thanks

It certainly could be a risk...it is the off season so you may be okay. I always suggest making reservation as soon as your sure of your dates...I've been known to make reservations w/out confirmed dates to get the good rate and then move them a day or two if necessary. You didn't mention if you were bring kids or not...there is a good special w/ the disney visa at that time...kids are free. If you do a room only reservation you have 5 days prior to make changes/cancel w/out penalty. 45 days for a package...I'd say make arrangements ASAP!

Also, if Annual Pass rates come out in October, that will encourage people to book who may not have gone that time of year at a rack rate.

I'm staying the 2nd week of December there which is off season and tried to get an extra night and they were full. One of the people there said that it was probably due to the Winter Dreamaker package. The Poly is always very popular so I'd book right away.
