I have reservations for AKL for Dec 16th to Jan 3 2006. I was hoping with the new packages it would be cheaper.. But it doesn't sound like it.
I can know hope that Disney willl offer AP rates or some other discount.
I have rack rate of 312 ( with tax) for a Savannah View room.

I agree. Did you ask about an AAA discount? Normally, you can save around 10% on rack rate. :D

I agree. Right now we have POFQ booked with a AAA rate for Nov 19th through the 26th of 2005 and we have APs so we are hoping for AP rates so we can upgrade to the WL or AKL. Did you ask about AAA rates for at least Dec 16th through the 31st? It might help out a little.

I'm also hanging on to my August room only AAA rate that I got at OKW. I can't see that the new packages are all the much better. I have to buy tickets now and I think the new pricing will work nicely for us. But doing it all on a package doesn't seem to save us anything.

And for me - it's all about control! LOL! I don't like to be tied up in things that I don't want.
