Booking SW online

When booking the internet one way option with SW, do you get to choose your seats right away? If so, I know the web option for Airtrain you do not choose you seats until you check in. Would this also mean that you might possibly get bumped from the flight you are scheduled for??

You don't chose your seats at all with SW, it is open seating. go to the SW website and click on Travel center, then on boarding. It explains the entire boarding process. This applies to one way and round trip.
