My 7 month booking window is coming up in a few days and I need some advice on strategy: I want to book a Standard view one bedroom at AKL-Kidani for January 8-13 (marathon weekend, two family members and I are doing the Dopey Challenge) but two of my 5 nights are currently waitlisted. For those with experience at Kidani in January, is the flurry of resort changes at the 7 month mark likely to open those two nights up if I go to book right at 8am 7 months out?
OKW is my backup, which I love and has plenty of availability, but for 3 more points I'd absolutely LOVE the second bathroom (especially since we're going to be running 48.6 miles over 4 days).
If I can't get Kidani for all of my nights right off the bat, how should I position my wait lists, since I can only have two? I unfortunately don't have enough points to book both the full stay at OKW and the Kidani nights currently has available (while waitlisting the missing nights).
