I Booked my brother at the BCV for his honeymoon. I am wondering if the procedures are any different than if I went myself. Check-in, discounts, ect.. Will the staff know he is not an owner and do they care?? Will his key to the world card have DVC member on it?

The woman I spoke to at MS didn't seem to know a whole lot so I am asking all of you.

I have seen the room reports but is there any special room, floor or view anyone recomends? They will be in a studio and I want them to be in a great room for their honeymoon and I have never been to the BCV before.

TIA

Hi! He will not need anything. The ressie is in his name?
You can give him the confirmation letter, but they don't ask to see it.
He will ahve to give his ID.
The room key card will ahve member written on the bottom of it. He might eb abel to just use thsi for soem of the discounts, but i have read on here in soem instances where the actual DVC member card had to be shown. Hopefully, soemone can give you more insight on that.
I wodul call back and ask them to put it is their honeymoon on the ressie. We had a studio at BCV before that was high up with a view of IllumiNations and the Epcot ball all lit up at night. We loved it. Maybe since it is their honeymoon they'll ahve better luck getting a good room.

As your guest, their room key/ID will state "DVC Member" and they will have access to most of the benefits available to all members.

Check-in will be the same as for anyone.

If you have a general preference for a view at BCV, just add that to the reservation. I'd avoid requesting specific rooms- as that is a sure way to be disappointed.

They'll have a great time regardless which room they have.

Enjoy!
