Booking SSR at 7 months

Hi everyone! I received developer points in my contract but will not be able to use them until next June. They will expire July 1. Since I will not be able to book until the 7 month mark I am a little concerned that they won't have anything available. We would travel the 2nd week of June and prefer a 2 bedroom, however, if necessary we could book 2 studios. Does anyone have any thoughts? What are my chances this would be available or am I worrying for no reason? It scares me because if we can't book anything in June we would loose them because they would expire. Thanks in advance for any thoughts you have to offer!

I've never had a problem booking SSR. We just booked a Dec 2008 Trip, and had no trouble. . . that was at 6 months. Good luck!

Outside of the top seasons like Christmas and Easter, I don't get the sense anyone has had a problem booking that property. It doesn't appear masses of non-owners are banging the doors down to get in.

You should be fine with SSR. In case you aren't (maybe there's a night you can't get a 2BR, but you get all the other nights), please don't be afraid to waitlist for the portion you can't get. There would be very good odds your waitlist would come through.

we just booked four nights for july 24 and had no problem!

You will not have a problem booking Saratoga Springs at the 7 month window. One reason is because it is such a large resort and the other reason is because most SSR owners, like myself, book their vacations at the other resorts located at the parks.

Agreed - and it's funny because we do love staying there. . . always has been great! But, we love BWV or BCV!

Yesterday we booked a five night stay at SSR in a 2BR for August 8th. We knew it was last minute, but we got in. As a comparison, we asked if any other DVC resort was available and there were no 2BR available for that time period anywhere else.
