Hi

has anyone booked separately? Ive got a price from Virgin for £3300 at POR with the free dining, going next Sept. Disney is quoting me £2500 for the accommodation and dining and cant do flights yet so im guessing thats about another £1k for the 4 of us.

Is there anywhere else to look?

We always book separately. We usually go through www.expedia.co.uk for our flights, hotel, car etc.

You could also try www.lastminute.com - they are also very reliable.
Doing it that way can save a considerable amount.

I'm not sure about the free dining as we never eat on site, so can't help you. There are so many dining places outside WDW that you are spoilt for choice.

will probaby be more than 1k for flights for 4.
is the $ or £ your quote from disney, r they offering free dining as well, or not yet?

I'm going next september too and i've just booked direct with Disney for CBR. For 4 of us (2 ad, 2 ch) with free dining and 21 day ultimate tickets it is £2288.

Flights I estimate with VA at £1500, when I looked at VH for the flights, accommodation and tickets to get the free dining it was £600 MORE than Disney including the estimation of £1500 for VA flights if booked seperately.

I looked through all the travel agents brochures etc and booking seperately with Disney foe acoommodation and tickets, VA for the flights and carhire4less for the car it was still coming in cheaper by £600 than VH.

How long are you going for?

I've just put in 14 nights at CBR including tickets and free dining for 4 of us and it's only £1716.

My booking is for 20 nights including tickets and free dining and that's only £2288.

Yep 14 nights. Was that the Disney.go website?

Hi Paula

what website did you do that through?

I booked direct with disneyworld.co.uk for the accommodation and tickets to get the free dining. (£2288).

Checked VA for flights based on this years prices (£1500).

Car hire from numerous places for an intermediate 4 door (£350-£380).

In total (not including flex tickets) £4138.

I also am a Virgin Flyer, so flights should be cheaper. Hopefully around the £1k mark

hi

we have also booked to go next september, we are in a similar situation as we looked at going with virgin and some other operators, we decided to book with walt disney world.co.uk as we also wanted to take advantage of the free dining offer (guess there will be a lot of brits there next september), also wanted to do the magical express checkin plus the other little extras you get, we are staying at the port orleans riverside 2 adults 3 kids plus the park tickets came in at just over £1600 for 14 nights (although we may change it to 16 nights). so we now have to wait to book our flights, would rather go with virgin as we want to do the twilight checkin, plus the tv's in the seats (great for the kids and me the nervous flyer).

regards

hi we actually telephoned them to book, and asked for the me whilst on the phone.

Great thread, I'm looking to book for next Aug/Sep also for the 2 of us. I was quoted £2600 for 16 nights POFQ, 14 night prem ticket, free dining and flights with BA. However Disney quotes £1500 for 16 nights POFQ, free dining, 10 day ticket. Don't know if I should book with them and wait for the flights or what? Would prefer to fly from Scotland as apparently if I fly from London it adds on 1.5hr plane time, not great for a nervous flyer, BTW is this true?
We flew from Glasgow in August and it took 8.56hrs, what is the usual from Gatwick?

Thanks

Summer,
Gatwick flights are around 9 Hours 10 mins
same roughly for manchester
Glasgow is scheduled at 8 hours 50 mins

Ah, I could handle an extra 20 minutes then. My TA said that no big airline flys out of Glasgow, i.e BA, VA etc, is this true? I was hoping to fly with Virgin this year which is why I am querying flying from Gatwick. I can't seem to find any flights like that going from Glasgow?
