I currently have a water view king room at RPR for Labor Day weekend. I'm hoping to add CL to the reservation. Currently this is available for $120 more per night (without AP discount). There are no AP discounts available. Is there a chance this could change as the weekend gets closer? I'd like to book it but would really prefer to get an AP discount. I wish I'd booked this sooner as I seem to remember it was available when I originally booked!

Also which tower is the CL in?

Thanks so much!

It could possible go down but if you really want it you better add it just in case. Club level is in tower 3, 7th floor.:thumbsup2

But if it was me $120 per night is a lot for that benefit.

i agree with bluer.:thumbsup2

you would probably spend more of your time in the club than in the parks to get your moneys worth if you paid $120 more a night.

you would have to decide which to miss:
the club lounge for breakfast offerings or the early admittance to parry hotter.

if the club level has been booked and at 98% occupancy, i doubt the ap rate would drop for a room there.

if the occupancy rate is very low for your date, it is possible the ap rate could drop.
call before you go and see what the price will be for changing rooms.
if you wait until you check in, you might or might not be able to upgrade.

how many nights do you plan to stay at the hotel?

if you are staying many nights, ask if there are any other nights available for club at a cheaper ap rate.

i have done that at hrh before.
staying 6 nights and moving during my stay.

Thanks so much! That was my gut feeling on this as well. I thought it seemed pretty steep considering we are mostly in the park. Actually if you stay three nights you can get CL at only $50 more a night with AP discount but apparently you have to stay the three nights to get it. I'll keep checking just in case but I'll plan to stick with our current water view room. Thanks!!

if you have 4 in your family, the extra $50 might not be a bad deal.
do breakfast on your last day there, hit the parks.

get water bottles for all in your group, 2 each, and hit the parks.

get a couple of brewskis and you hit even for one night.

i always get a king suite at rph, i don't want to give that up for a club level room. just my priority.

keep checking the availability and room rates.

if occupancy is way down, you might get the upgrade.

i say that because if they move you to club, they can easily rent out a lower price standard room to someone else.
the hotel still comes out ahead.
