Booking Remy/Palo online and making corrections later

We're first time cruisers and today was the day we could finally book our onboard activities online. We tried to get a Remy dinner reservation for our party of 7 and for some reason the system would only let us book 1 person at a time, about 10 minutes apart, instead of all 7 people seated at the same time - i.e. our dinner reservations stretch out over an hour! I suppose this is what happens when you have no priority status. DCL told not to cancel and just settle it while onboard since everything is fully booked up already. Has this ever happened to anyone else, and what are the chances of this actually getting resolved onboard?

That sounds very odd, but it will be easy to fix. At the terminal before you board you will get your first Navigator and it will list where to go for Palo/Remy issues. They usually start helping people at 1. Go see them and they'll get it all fixed.

If you have not already done so, you can link your reservations and it is easier to book everyone that way. Otherwise, I am sure that they will be able to help you all out once you check in. :)

Have a great cruise!

Thanks! That's the strange part -- all of our reservations are linked already. The system would not let us book the 7 together. That's why I was wondering if anyone had encountered this during booking, or whether it was some sort of "you get the dregs for being last" sort of thing. And we logged in at midnight too!

Would it let you do 4 than 3??
If not it will work out once on board. They hold a % back for people to book once onboard

That is REALLY weird. :( And I imagine quite frustrating, it sounds like a massive glitch. I am sure they can fix this for you though. Definitely pop in when you get onboard and get it settled.

One of the tough parts of this is that it's going to make Remy seem more booked than it is and have a bunch of two tops reserved that actually aren't.

I had an issue booking online for character breakfast for the 4 of us (same stateroom) where several time slots would show up in the availability search, but for ANY slot I pick from the search results the system would say it filled up in the time it took to process - tried multiple times that night and always the same thing. The next day I was going to call them, but checked the website again and it let me book online that time.

Some other random onboard activities/excursions would show availability for 3 or 4 people, but no availability for 2 people... The system is pretty wacky at times, but there seems to be pixies working hard at fixing whatever goes out of wack in online booking, as odd problems usually go away a day or so later, at least from my limited experience.
