Booking Questions-Costco vs DCL??

Hello! I just have a question for you.

When you book through Costco you get the Costco cash card that is some sort of percentage of the cruise itself (I forget the percentage itself). If you start paying through DVA does the value of the Costco cash card go down since you are not paying through Costco anymore?

I don't think it should make a difference. I am pretty sure the Costco cash card is based on the total price of the cruise, not how it is paid for. You can pay anyway, credit card or gift cards or DVA. I did call Costco 1st who then put me on a 3 way call with Disney to pay by the DVA account But I won't know the answer exactly cause my cruise is in May. I'll know by the end of May.

Thanks for all the great info in this thread! I'm considering using Costco for a cruise and have questions. Would Costco set up the transfers (from airport to port and port to WDW)? Would I need to provide Costco with our Castaway ID number in order to receive the stateroom gift?

As part of the reservation process, transfers can be included. At least for us it was. No need, really, to give your CC number, the DCL system recognizes if you've cruised before and automatically flags your reservation as past cruisers.
