Booking question

Okay, I am interested in staying at the Wilderness Lodge in July but I simply cannot afford the current rate. I am an annual pass holder so I am hoping for BRP to come out at a later date. My problem is that in order to make ADR I need a resort reservation by tomorrow, which is 120 days out. My choices are to book a value resort with AAA discount and change my reservation if BRP comes out or do I book Wilderness Lodge now and then change to a more affordable option if no discounts come my way. I am pretty sure that there is no cancellation penalty until I am 5 days out.

You can make an ADR without a WDW ressie at 120 days, you just can't make the 120 plus 10 days ADR's...

People who stay offsite or even who live in the area can make ADR's without a ressie at 120 days.
