I am thinking of booking through DU, but I was wondering about something... if I ask for adjoining Cat 10 cabins, is it possible to request a certain deck (if those cabins are available) or do you just have to take whatever they give you?

TIA

I have and received exact cabin requests from DU both time I've booked with them!!

Regardless of how you book, you can ask for specific decks.

We are really partially to Deck 7. It's very easy to hop up two flights to the pools/topsiders and easy to go down two flights to the kids clubs.

On our January trip, we ended up going up to a Cat 8 to stay on Deck 7! Darn the luck, I'm really looking forward to that window!

Our family has also enjoyed Deck 7. Same reasons as above--just two quick decks by the stairs to everything on deck 9, and same story for going down to 5 for the kids. Stayed on 7 in a Cat. 8 on 4 day wonder, w/ DW and DS (6), and staying again in a cat. 8 on 7 day Magic Eastern in 10 days :D Close enough to 9 that we don't miss the veranday, the 36" windows are great, the split bathroom set-up is great, we thought Disney Wonder was a huge step up from our previous Royal Caribbean Cruise. Staying pretty far Forward, 7004 last time and 7014 soon, puts us near stairs, and as for the walk to some things Aft up on 9--hey, I can use the extra walking considering the calories.

Happy New Year to all.
