Booking Palo's in advance???? I'm confused?

Hi,
This will be our first Disney Cruise. I'm confused. I thought you had to get to the port early to wait in line to board and run to Palo's to get a reservation. But I think I read a post that said they were able to make a Palo's reservation weeks in advance or something??? What am I missing here?? Thanks!!

If you purchase the special Romance at Sea package it includes the ability to have the Palo reservation made for you ahead of time.

you also can make Palo ressies in advance if you have a concierge level (cat 1, 2 or 3) stateroom....
