So I booked a b2b on the wish this morning for Oct 22. We will hopefully be gold before the booking window opens for it but we are currently silver. I’ve never had any luck securing a Palo reservation in advance, but twice have gone straight to deck 2 upon embarking, waited in a line for last minute spots and have been able to book Palo brunch that way both times.

Assuming that even as gold we aren’t able to book brunch at the new Palo on the Wish, I’m thinking I’ll have to do the usual game of getting in line once boarding. Has anyone done this process on the 2nd leg of a b2b before? Will I have any sort of bonus opportunity to try to get a Palo reservation before the rest of the 2nd cruise has boarded? We were looking forward to the idea of enjoying the ship for a couple hours after re-boarding, but I don’t want to miss my opportunity to be first in line for on-board Palo booking. How will I know what time to go rush down to be first in line for Palo bookings right before they start boarding for the 2nd sailing, do they make any sort of announcement?

You may be able to add a Palo reservation for the second cruise of your b2b during the first cruise. When we have done b2b cruises (twice on the Magic in our case), the Palo manager has asked us each time if we wanted to add either brunch or dinner (whichever we had not already booked) for the second cruise. He must be able to see what we’ve got booked and that we’re doing the b2b.

Wow! That would be an amazing perk of a b2b! I’m always sad to spend that first hour or so after embarking waiting in the Palo booking line…worth it for sure…but I dream of being first on the Aquamouse and cabanas lunch instead of that line 😂

We were on the Fantasy B2B and had a similar-ish experience. It was just my family for the 1st leg and then 8 more family joined for the second. You can't book the private dining room unless you are a party of 10. Our party was 8 eligible for Palo. On the first cruise we went to the Palo hostess stand and they were able to make a reservation for the second cruise for all 8 in the private dining area. Of course it was subject to availability, which for our cruise was wide open.

That is awesome!!

This is great news as we also have a B2B on the DVC and 2nd official wish sailing and I figured even as a gold it would be hard to compete for reservations when it’s online booking time due to all the platinums on board.
