Booking Palo Dining and Rain Forest Passes onboard, where to go?

It seems that their are openings for Palo but because there are only two of us it will not let us book and says please try again or onboard. Last time we were on Disney Dream and we had to get on a waiting list only through the chat feature in the app. Can anyone tell me where we need to go once on the ship to book Palo Reservations, if available, and Rain Forest passes?

Rain forest passes you head to the Spa. If they have any available you can book there.

With Palo you have been able to go to a dining cast member that was located in a lounge (it changed which one) at specific times which were posted, but this stuff seems to change so often I'm not even sure if that is still accurate.
You can also go to Palo once it opens for the evening and speak to the maitre'd.

For adult dining, once you are in the terminal you will need to access the app to see the schedule for the first day. There will be a time and locations for dining requests. This will most likely begin between 12:30 and 1:00 and will be in one of the restaurants or lounges.
