Booking only a month in advance?

I just put an offer in for a AKV resale. My question is that if I were to close by end of April (Hoping it passes through), will I be able to get a room for the first week of June. If not how about late September. Any experience regarding last minute bookings would be appreciated.

late sept should be fine.

I have wonderful luck with last minute at AKV - others have not.

so hard to say.

Sept would be easier than June.

I would try for June if that's what you really want. Just have a list of 2 or 3 resorts you're willing to stay at. Many times SSR or OKW will have rooms available even if the rest of property is booked.

I think you may have more luck with June because F&W is at Epcot and MNSSHP will be at MK the end of September, both events draw crowds.

also your room choice - if you will only take savannah view - then June may be a problem - but if you will take - value, standard or savannah - then you got a chance.

We just did an add-on at VGC and got 100 developer points that we wanted to use for our upcoming trip in 32 days and we called this morning and were able to change our ressies to a 1 bedroom at OKW for 4 nights and a 2 bedroom at SSR for 3 nights, so it worked for us!!! Good Luck closing and booking!
